I just love the 1940's silhouette in fashion. It seems to have been a very polished yet ladylike style that is classic and can still be worn today. I found these pictures on www.howtolookgood.com and I think that the hair, makeup and accessories complement each other perfectly. (except maybe the scary Joan Crawford penciled in eyebrows with the yellow dress, yikes!)
