For the first time in recorded history, the county I live in had a White Christmas! Imagine the joy on children's faces to look out their windows seeing that lovely sight. Snowballs to be thrown, snowmen to be made, oh the joy! My family however was in Florida for Christmas with my daughter, son in law and adorable grandson! Although it was annoying to be in the Sunshine State while magic was happening back home, I wouldn't have traded it for the world. My family is precious, loving, fun, entertaining and a greater joy to be around than snow. And that, my friends , is saying a LOT because I do love snow!
The pictures above were captured by our friends who knew that we would love to see our home in snow and I may just be making a new blog header with one of them!
So many Christmas memories were made in the last few weeks, but just as Christina, (my oldest) said in her blog, pictures need to be downloaded and edited, so hopefully in a few days!
Lovely, looks like it was here in England.
ReplyDeleteOH darn!! Wouldn't you know you would miss it? I can not believe it snowed that much!! I got to see a few flurries- but it didn't stick to anything...and of course that was not in our town (it NEVER snows here!)
ReplyDeleteI know you were having family fun though so that does make up for missing the snow. So thoughtful of your neighbors to take the photos for you!
Glad you had a great holiday. We had a snowy Christmas, too. I probably won't see another one in my lifetime!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! Glad you got snow....you always need at least a LITTLE bit sometime:))
ReplyDeleteYour home looks nice in snow :) I'm glad you had a good Christmas with your family.
ReplyDeleteI love the new header...and great friends you have to think of taking the photo! And it's great as a header; love the colors popping from the white snow.
